Get a glimpse of the south as we head towards New Orleans. With so much culture and history, we’ll explore the many unique things this region has to offer:
City Life: visiting the French Quarter with stops at Café Du Monde, Jackson Square, and St. Louis Cathedral
Country Life: navigating through the swamps on a boat tour and getting an understanding of how Crawfish farms work
Historic Life: touring Oak Alley Plantation where they had on average 110 slaves at any given time
Refugee Life: have firsthand experience in how the first wave of Vietnamese immigrants made a living to survive after the Vietnam War. We’ll take a tour of a functioning Shrimping facility where Vietnamese fisherman still operate today.
